The Power of Following up.

In a busy society, your audience need to be reminded of your valuable offer multiple times. We tend to think of this as how much content we post, BUT, it applies to email requests, products left in cart, and views vs. engagement.

Following up in any and every channel will increase brand attachment, engagement, and most importantly, SALES.

Increase Business Sales

We work with a lot of small businesses, Creators, and entrepreneurs who are looking to increase brand awareness, engagement, and obviously, SALES. With that said, we’ll keep this short, please FOLLOW UP WITH CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS/YOUR AUDIENCE.

Not following up is one of the biggest missed opportunities for small businesses and anyone new to “putting something out there”. The truth of the matter is that everyone is BUSY and they need to see something more than once to pay attention and engage.

According to internet searches, it takes 8 touch points in today’s climate to get attention from a consumer. To break that down, that means if you posted the exact same thing 8 times on your social channels, website, etc., it might take until that 8th time until your consumer actually notices it.

We always urge clients to stop overthinking what they’re posting and simply SHARE what they want their audience to pay attention to, RIGHT NOW. Oftentimes, clients are too “precious” about their content and sharing their social media. It’s their perfectionism, doubt, and fear that makes the idea of posting in the “right” way a HUGE, scary, unattainable thing to achieve from where they’re at.

But we digress…

With all that said, the point is that in today’s social climate, there is SO MUCH going on. From new shows to steam each day of the week, pop culture, social media addiction, and simply trying to live your best time, we need to see something more than once to pay attention, connect, and potentially engage.

Note From Founder

Today, I was caught up in the whirlwind of my daily tasks. I couldn’t believe that the last time I looked at my calendar it was Monday and NOW somehow I’m sitting in the reality of a Thursday night. I looked at my inbox before I took a shower and it was someone following up with me. To be real, multiple people followed up with me today and it was only because of that follow-up that I remembered that i intended to engage. So many times we send out a newsletter, post content on social media, or reach out to someone / for something and because we don’t hear back we say it wasn’t successful. The truth is you could’ve had the best idea, product, service, etc. but you simply didn’t SHARE enough for people to grasp it. The point being… follow up not 1, 2, but 3+ times when someone inquires about your offer!
